Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Synopsis

A SACRED OATH
A FALLEN ANGEL
A FORBIDDEN LOVE

Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school,no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgement.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She cant decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. and when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life.

What I Think

What i was thinking then...

i loved this book it was a nice young adult romance which has a lot of things happening around them, how Becca wrote this book was fantastic once i starting this book i did not stop reading until i finished the rest of the saga. for anyone that is unsure about them i would have to say that these books are one of my must read.

What i think in 2015...

Well I had to re-read to book before giving you a better review from my first attempt, cause that would not of helped anyone pick this book or saga to read or not. saying that lets get to what I think of this book this year. Becca Fitzpatrick is amazing again I started this book and could not do anything else until I finished, my son was even coming up to me and asking how many pages left to read, gotta love him. Becca knows how to drag you into to the story from the first page you read and even leaving you with the feeling of  "I did not see that coming".

Okay the main characters are well grouped I think that might be the way you say but maybe not but you will get where im coming from  once I explain where im coming from.

Nora she thought she was just a normal girl going to school doing all the normal things, but really everything change the day her father died a year before. When Patch became her Biology partner everything changed.

Vee is Nora's best friend, they would do anything for each other in this book you got to see that and how the friendship gets push a little bit but they come through, hope to see it more in the books to come.

Elliot, he scares me just did not get a good feeling from him at all creepy, he kept trying to pushing Nora into things, but thank goodness that Nora had the same unsure feeling about him. But Vee her best friend was always trying to get them to get together. there are places in the book where you start to like him and think that the things were happening around them wasn't him and then the next page you read your sitting there going "yeah it is so him who else could it be, cant be Patch".

Marcie well there is a few words to call her but im just sticking with BITCH, she is a bully towards Nora and what Nora can remember she hasn't done nothing to Marcie ever. But she has something against her maybe we will find out in the next book.

Patch wow cant believe I left him to last out of this amazing group of characters but Him and Nora didn't always hit it off, hang on they didn't hit it off until the last few chapters but that doesn't mean Patch didn't try, I loved this character because he was there when she needed him. there is a lot more I can say but that might give away to much and I don't want to blow the story before you get a chance to read it.

I recommend this book and series to all my followers, family and friends to read even if you aren't sure if you would like the genre, this was one of the first paranormal romance books I had read and feel in love with the genre, so im giving this book a 5 reader rating this time around and will be putting it on my must read list for 2015.

Because You Are Mine

Synopsis

It starts with that first look, when you know you have to have him…

Francesca Arno has been commissioned to create a grand centerpiece painting for the lobby of Ian Noble’s new skyscraper. It’s at a cocktail party in her honor that she first meets him—and the attraction is immediate for Francesca. It’s also bewildering. She’s not used to such a wholesale sexual response to a stranger. Enigmatic, darkly intense, with a commanding presence, Ian completely unnerves her. And she likes it.

For Ian, she’s the kind of woman he can’t resist—one that comes all too rarely: a true innocent. But he can sense in her a desire to open up, to experiment, to give herself to the fantasies of a man in control. The first kiss, the first caress, the first challenge for a woman who craves what she’s never had—a man who gets what he wants.

What I Think

What i was thinking then...

So far i am loving it. it is a lot like 50 shades and i hate to put books up against another book but i am glad that i did not read this straight after reading 50 shade of grey. The only thing that i dont like is that there is eight parts with 2 chapters each book would be great to have it in one book. i am not sure if there is a complete novel out yet but i have seen a cover saying that there is
.
I finished the books a couple of days ago wow very good read wishing the it was a trilogy i didn't get enough of Ian and Francesca. Ian is set in his own ways and does not like anyone in his business and gets mad if they do.

What i think in 2014....

I really like how Beth Kery writes, as you can see when i first read this book it was in 8 parts and there was some people that got pissed off because when the complete collection book can out it ended up being cheaper then getting it when it was in parts.

I loved the storyline, the characters were amazing to read and follow. It is a book i could come back and read over and over again, and not get enough of it
People still think that books in this genre are the same as Fifty Shades of Grey but i have read alot of books in this genre and they all are different in many ways so if you see these books give them a chance because they will surprise you by being completely different.

Book Rating

I still give this book a 4 reader rating. The cover is amazing, it really ties in to the story.
