Into The Deep by Samantha Young

Charley Redford was just an ordinary girl until Jake Caplin moved to her small town in Indiana and convinced her she was extraordinary. Almost from day one Jake pulled Charley into the deep and promised he was right there with her. But when a tragic incident darkened Jake’s life he waded out into the shallows and left Charley behind.

Almost four years later Charley thinks she’s moved on. That is until she takes a study year abroad in Edinburgh and bumps into none other than Jake Caplin at a party with his new girlfriend. The bad-boy-turned-good attempts to convince Charley to forgive him, and as her best friend starts spending time with Jake’s, Charley calls a truce, only to find herself tumbling back into a friendship with him.

As they grow closer, the spark between them flares and begins playing havoc with their lives and relationships. When jealousy and longing rear their destructive heads, Charley and Jake struggle to come to grips with what they mean to one another.

And even if they work it out, there is no guarantee Charley will ever trust Jake to lead her back into the deep…

What I Think

I had mixed feelings about this book, at first i was not going to finish reading it as it gave me whiplash with the chopping and changing but saying that im glad that i stick it out, even though it still gives you whiplash it is a must have for the storyline (i know that is crazy but it is.) So if you can put up with the changing all the time then yeah read it because it is a good story.

For the characters well i dont know what to say. Charley well she is stuck in the past she cant get past her ex. really she is so (Trying to call her something nice but it is hard) Dumb might be the nicest i can call her no really read it and see for or self.

Jake he is charming in the past but a dick in the present no really, who would be friends with their ex and going out with them in a group, hangout and all, as well as have your new girlfriend there with you, prick tease i think.

I was hoping this was as good as the last Samantha Young books i have read but i was let down :(, it doesnt put me off Samantha. I will be review the next book in the series just have to have a break from it and read something else first. i do give this book a 2 book readers rating as it is a good story i think i'm a bit picky lately.

What I Think

I got asked to review this amazing book from the author, it was a different sort of book from what i normally read (well to a point anyway) it kept me asking questions on how he was going to tell his wife and how his children would settled in with their father and his family after so many years.

The book was well written, the characters were put together really well to a point that you felt from them and the story flowed. I dont want to say much more about the story as i dont want to give anything away but i do recommend reading it to anyone that loves reading, it should be in your book lists to read as soon as, you wont be let down.

Loving Mr. Daniels by Brittainy C. Cherry

To Whom it May Concern,

It was easy to call us forbidden and harder to call us soulmates. Yet I believed we were both. Forbidden soulmates.

When I arrived to Edgewood, Wisconsin I didn’t plan to find him. I didn't plan to stumble into Joe's bar and have Daniel's music stir up my emotions. I had no clue that his voice would make my hurts forget their own sorrow. I had no idea that my happiness would remember its own bliss.

When I started senior year at my new school, I wasn’t prepared to call him Mr. Daniels, but sometimes life happens at the wrong time for all the right reasons.

Our love story wasn’t only about the physical connection.

It was about family. It was about loss. It was about being alive. It was silly. It was painful. It was mourning. It was laughter.

It was ours.

And for those reasons alone, I would never apologize for loving Mr. Daniels.

Loving Mr. Daniels by Brittainy C. Cherry stole my heart. I am absolutely in LOVE with this book and it has earned a spot in my top favorites of 2014. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful, heartfelt, breathtaking, moving, inspirational, heartbreaking, and captivating this book is. Loving Mr. Daniels consumed me and took me on an emotional journey that I felt every word, quote, letter, and song come to LIFE. Loving Mr. Daniels’ story will stay with you and as I write this review just thinking about Daniel and Ashlyn is making me emotional and teary eyed.

What I Think

I had a friend telling me that i have to read this because she could not put it down, i was a bit iffy as we dont have the same taste in all the books we read but im so glad she told me about it.

It is one of them books you cant stop once you start, the story just flowed and soon you had finished. I am putting Loving Mr. Daniels on my must reads for 2015, i think it may be the first one of the year.

This is one of the very few books that have made me cry like a baby and laugh out loud, i cant wait until another one of Brittainy C. Cherry books pop up in my email or i get a call to say she has got another one ready to read.

I TOTALLY TOTALLY recommend this book to my readers if you havent already got it and read it..
